Dashboard Question

PostJuly 2nd, 2012, 4:43 pm

Just updated the firmware to 2.7r64 and updated the software to 2.7r23

My dashboard and most of the other stuff have changed, Is this meant to happen?

Is there a way to change the way dashboard looks, can it be positioned horizontally?
analog gauges that I see after the upgrading to 2.7r23 is "rpm and boost" and the rest are digital, is this what 2.7r23 did to the software?

The dashboard was changed recently to better serve the needs of tuners and users. It will continue to be enhanced in future versions of the software.

The new layout places engine speed and load, the two most important tuning parameters, in analog gauges at the top that are easy to locate and view. The gauges themselves now adjust in range depending the breakpoints of your 3D base maps. If you maps only go up to 10psi, the load gauge will stay within 2-3 psi of this range. If your map goes to 30psi, the load gauge goes higher.

The digital gauges under the analog gauges have also been relocated to facilitate finding the most important information. AFR/lambda is at the top since that is a very important parameter. The AFR/lambda information is also visible on the top menu bar so that you can instantly determine how close you are to the AFR/lambda target you have selected.

Fuel cut cycles and ignition cut cycles have been placed next to the fuel pulsewidth and advance gauges.

Even thought there are options for tiling the windows vertically and horizontally, the software is geared to be used in auto arrange mode.
